"My youngest and I caught this 17 inch small mouth bass Monday morning. He hooked it and then had to have me bring it in. Yesterday my youngest caught a 10 inch small mouth all by himself. A close friend and his family have been vacationing in woodruff so they came over yesterday. Had a great day of fishing, grilling out and Bon fire at night. Tomorrow we are heading to Hurley and we might tryout the salad you recommend!" -Bob
In spring of 2014, DNR conducted a walleye popuplation survey. They caught and marked 626 walleye and estimate the walleye population on Pine Lake to be 5.5 per acre!
"Lake also has a really nice small mouth population- the first pic has a 17", 18", 19", and 20" smallie in it. We captured 3 of those smallmouth on the submerged rock bar that extends out from the little point between your place and the Lodge. And while the walleye tend towards the smaller side, there are some big ones! We pulled out before the muskie started moving, but there are some nice ones in there, too." -Joe
